I’m not sure if it was jetlag or excitement, but despite a bedtime of 3:15am, I was up and unable to get back to sleep at around 9:00am. Thankfully, almost all of my roommates seemed to be in the same boat.

Where I Dined:
Stubbs BBQ – I had Stubbs grub twice actually, free BBQ was provided at the Mashpot/Thrillcall Event, so my breakfast was chicken, ribs and sausage. Then I tried a jalapeno brisket taco during the Red Light Management party at the venue.
Chi’lantro Food Truck – Mexican/Asian fusion. I loved the flavors in my tacos, but word on the street is that the Kimchi fries burrito (yes, seriously) is incredible. The truck has actually been featured on the Cooking Channel and Food Network.

One of my roommates was walking along the street and a bus full of dancing women threw him a large bag of cinnamon sugar kettle corn. This lasted in our room for another day and a half and became affectionately known as “crack popcorn.” Not sure if this was the brand, but I imagine any kind of cinnamon sugar kettle corn would be equally addictive.
